Shorts crowded a low-float name, then covered all at once: watch offers vanish as each liquidation feeds the next.
Replay the market,
not the candle.
Candles show where price moved. EdgeDepth lets you rewind the market that produced the move: every trade, order-book update, liquidity shift, liquidation and change in open interest, synchronized tick by tick. Study real events, make decisions before the outcome, then use the same tools live.
See what the candle removed.
This move looks simple after it has printed. Rewind it and the sequence becomes visible: liquidity shifts, the tape accelerates, positions are forced out and the market begins feeding on itself.
Pause it. Scrub backward. Watch the full state rebuild.
NO SIGNUP A candle is the summary.
The sequence is what matters.
A one-minute candle compresses thousands of trades and order-book changes into four prices.
It cannot show whether buyers were absorbing aggressive selling, whether bids vanished before a drop, whether open interest was building, or whether liquidations began accelerating the move.
EdgeDepth restores that sequence so you can study how the market developed, not only where the candle eventually closed.
One recorded market. Four ways in.
Every trade, order-book update, liquidation and market-state change is captured continuously across supported markets.
Open a timestamp or archived event, then scrub backward and forward through the market tick by tick.
Inspect the DOM, tape, liquidity heatmap, open interest, liquidations and order flow as they developed.
Pause at important moments, answer a checkpoint or place a paper trade, then resume the recorded market.
Rewind any recorded market to the exact moment.
Right-click any chart timestamp and EdgeDepth reconstructs the complete terminal state at that moment. Scrub backward, slow the market to 0.1× or accelerate it to 10× while the chart, DOM, tape, order-book heatmap, liquidation data, open interest and flow metrics remain synchronized.
- >Every recorded trade and order-book update
- >Complete synchronized terminal state
- >Deterministic playback: the same data rebuilds the same market
- >0.1× to 10× playback with scrubbing and chapter markers
- >No local recording or setup required
The market's best practice sessions, already indexed.
Browse liquidation cascades, squeezes, crashes, depegs, unusual volatility and major market reactions. Each event opens at the relevant timestamp with its complete recorded market state, so you can study the setup immediately instead of searching through historical charts.
Every archived event remains replayable beyond the rolling replay window.
A steady grind that flushed late shorts in waves. Study how open interest and funding built before the squeeze.
Aggressive buying accelerated into thin offers as short liquidations began reinforcing the move.
A 15-minute flash squeeze: the book thins out and the tape turns one-sided before price doubles.
The unwind after the squeeze: bids pull and long liquidations cascade the move back down.
A liquidation cascade in a high-priced perp, with $312K single prints as forced sellers hit a hollow book.
Make the decision before the market reveals the answer.
Guided lessons run directly on real historical replays. At decisive moments, the tape pauses, annotations explain what matters and you answer a multiple-choice question or place a paper trade before the outcome is shown.
Resume the market tick by tick, then review both the result and the reasoning behind your decision.
- +Real recorded events, not synthetic scenarios
- +Multiple-choice observation and decision checkpoints
- +Paper trading against the recorded market
- +Annotated explanations inside the terminal

Not every replay reconstructs the market.
Bar replay shows how candles developed. Local recording tools replay only the sessions you captured yourself. EdgeDepth continuously records the underlying market state so historical order flow remains available even when you were not watching.

How replay works, what it reconstructs, and what's free versus Pro. The long tail lives on the FAQ page.
What is EdgeDepth?
EdgeDepth is a browser-based live order-flow terminal and full-market replay platform for perpetual futures.
It lets you monitor markets live, rewind recorded sessions tick by tick, study permanently archived events and practise decisions through guided lessons and replay paper trading.
Does it run in my browser?
Yes. The engine is C++ compiled to WebAssembly, rendering through WebGL2. No install, no download, and the free tier needs no card.
What does replay actually replay?
Replay reconstructs the complete recorded market state: individual trades, order-book updates, DOM, liquidity heatmaps, liquidations, open interest and the analytical views shown by the terminal.
Playback is deterministic, so the same recorded input rebuilds the same market sequence every time.
How is this different from candle replay?
Candle replay reconstructs bars from historical prices. EdgeDepth reconstructs the underlying market sequence that produced those bars, including trades, order-book changes, liquidity, liquidations and open interest.
Is this financial advice?
No. EdgeDepth is market data and education. Nothing on this site or in the product is a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and no result is promised. Perpetual futures are leveraged instruments and involve substantial risk of loss.
Is EdgeDepth finished? What does 'open beta' mean?
Open beta means the product is real and usable today - the live terminal, 30-day tick replay and the event archive are all live - but the surface is still being polished and features ship weekly. It does not mean the data is unreliable: capture is lossless and replays are deterministic now, and every archived event stays replayable forever.
Full release is coming soon. Founder pricing exists precisely because of this stage: subscribe during the beta and the rate stays locked for as long as you’re continuously subscribed, including after release.
Don't study the candle.
Replay the market behind it.
Open a real archived event in your browser. Scrub the tape, pause before the move and decide what you would have done, without knowing the outcome.
