Hyperliquid liquidation levels from real open positions

Most liquidation maps infer where leverage might break. Hyperliquid exposes each public address’s open positions and exchange-calculated liquidation prices. EdgeDepth turns a risk-prioritized census of those positions into live, price-level clusters on the chart.

This sits inside a full live Hyperliquid data path: trades, full 20-level books, sub-second BBO, funding, open interest, realized liquidations and coverage-labeled real-position liquidation levels.

THE DATA PATH

A live wallet census, not a leverage guess

Hyperliquid has no endpoint for every open position at once. The useful map comes from choosing which addresses to refresh, reading their account state, rejecting misleading levels, then aggregating the remainder honestly.

01
FIND ACTIVE WALLETS
Hyperliquid trades expose the participating addresses. EdgeDepth uses recent flow to maintain a changing candidate set instead of polling a fixed list forever.
02
PRIORITIZE LIQUIDATION RISK
A warm tier discovers recent traders. A hot tier refreshes wallets holding meaningful size closer to liquidation. Large, well-margined accounts with unusable cross-margin levels do not consume the whole polling budget.
03
READ THE EXCHANGE LEVEL
For each covered open position, the system reads Hyperliquid’s own liquidation price and real leverage. It does not substitute the usual one-divided-by-leverage shortcut.
04
AGGREGATE, THEN DRAW
Wallet positions are collapsed into symbol, side and price buckets before they reach the chart. The terminal renders the aggregate level, not a public wallet leaderboard.
WHAT REACHES THE CHART

Direct levels, with the blind spots still visible

REAL OPEN-POSITION LEVELS
Long liquidations appear below mark and short liquidations above it. The brightest shelves are the largest covered clusters at Hyperliquid’s reported liquidation prices.
ACTUAL LEVERAGE FILTERS
The leverage controls filter real position leverage on this layer. On the universal liquidation field, those same controls describe modeled cohorts. The source label keeps the meanings separate.
COVERAGE IN PLAIN SIGHT
The HL · COV badge shows how much venue open-interest notional the current census covers. A small number is not quietly stretched into a claim about the whole market.
CROSS-VENUE CONTEXT
Hyperliquid levels are keyed by underlying and USD price, so BTC levels can be overlaid on BTCUSDT as an explicitly labeled HL source. The layer is unavailable where there is no matching Hyperliquid market.
THREE DIFFERENT CLAIMS

FROM LIVE VENUE TO RESEARCH LAYER

Hyperliquid is a first-class data source

EdgeDepth does not stop at a symbol list or a liquidation overlay. It carries full 20-level books, trades, sub-second per-coin BBO, funding, open interest and realized liquidations for every Hyperliquid perpetual.

Hyperliquid history is still being backfilled; it becomes searchable and replayable once it passes the same completeness checks as the Binance record. Cross-exchange research is in the works, and results will always say which venue they came from before any Binance-to-Hyperliquid comparison is allowed.

THE HONEST LIMIT

Real does not mean complete

The census covers a changing, risk-prioritized set of public addresses, not every Hyperliquid account. Cross-margin positions can expose account-level liquidation prices that are null or economically useless, so those levels are filtered instead of painted as false precision.

This position-census layer is live-only today. It does not pretend that today's covered wallets existed in a historical replay. The universal candle-derived field remains the replay-identical view of liquidation pressure.

Raw per-address positions stay in short-lived memory. EdgeDepth persists and publishes the price-bucketed aggregate, not a wallet-level position history.

Put real Hyperliquid levels beside the live order book.
