Recorded order books
Crypto market depth history.
Recorded as it happened.
EdgeDepth records the order book, best bid and offer, trades, liquidations, open interest and funding for Binance USDT-M, Hyperliquid and Bybit perpetuals. The depth is our own observation of the public book, so a move can be replayed or studied later without anyone having recorded it themselves.

Our own capture
Depth is recorded from the exchange feeds as it arrives, not bought as a reduced snapshot. Coverage starts from observation, and where nothing was observed the chart shows a gap rather than an estimate.
- 02
Replay it tick by tick
Open a covered market and time in the browser terminal. The recorded book, best bid and offer, trades and liquidations advance together on one clock.
- 03
Take the ticks with you
Selected major events ship as free tick-timestamped parquet behind their archive page, and desks can scope raw deliveries by venue, symbol, window and dataset.
What is recorded
The book, the touch and the trades, kept together.
Binance USDT-M: the full-depth order book and the native-rate per-symbol best bid and offer, with every received price and quantity change preserved. Hyperliquid: full 20-level books and sub-second per-coin BBO for every perpetual. Bybit: 50-level book snapshots every 100 ms, with the top of book. On all three venues, trades, reported liquidations, open interest and funding are recorded on the same clock, so a replay or a study never has to join datasets from different sources.

Since when
Two starts: the record and the book.
The searchable record begins on 15 July 2025, but its first months were backfilled from a vendor and hold trades, candles, liquidations, open interest and funding without depth. EdgeDepth’s own full-depth capture begins on 15 May 2026 for the majors and 5 June 2026 for the whole Binance universe, so order-book replay covers windows from those days onward. Earlier days can be searched but not replayed, on any plan.
Check dates and streams per market ↗What the record holds
Per venue: streams, start dates and replay reach.
Research history and tick replay have different coverage. The table states what each venue records and from when; the coverage page states it per market and stream.
Two estimates, about six weeks and about two weeks, describe a growing record; exact recorder coverage replaces them when it is published. Check dates and streams per market ↗
Three ways to reach it
Replay it, open it from an event, or take the ticks.

Replay it in the terminal
Choose a covered market and time. The recorded book, trades and liquidations play back together, pausable and seekable, in the same workspace you use live.

Scope it for a desk
Raw deliveries are scoped per desk by venue, symbols, window, datasets and cadence, beside the research API and MCP for teams and agent fleets.

Where the book starts
Order-book replay covers windows from 15 May 2026; earlier days are searchable but hold trades and candles only, so they cannot be replayed on any plan. Own capture covers the six majors from 15 May 2026 and the whole Binance universe from 5 June 2026; Hyperliquid replay recordings cover about six weeks so far and Bybit about two weeks. Check the market, date and streams before opening a replay.
Gaps and sampling
Coverage starts from observation. Where the recorder did not observe the book, the chart labels a gap instead of filling it. The real-time view displays depth in 100 ms bins and can group dense trade history; the record keeps the received book updates. Resting orders can change or cancel before trading.
Plans and venues
Free accounts can open the public recorded demo and one fully archived 24-hour UTC day on 6 majors. Pro replays 90 days of Binance plus the recorded Hyperliquid and Bybit history; Research reaches the recorded order book (from 15 May 2026). Searchable research history is Binance USDT-M today; hyperliquid historical data has been backfilled and recorded Hyperliquid replay covers about six weeks so far. Hyperliquid historical research is not yet publicly available; derived data and coverage must be validated before release.
Depth and quote readings
Research conditions computed from the recorded best bid and offer and order-book depth are searchable: quoted spread, what takers paid to cross, the sharpest one-minute withdrawal of resting depth on each side, the cost of crossing 100,000 USD, and the capture regime of each day's book and depth tapes. The depth readings need a soundly recorded order book and cover those days, from 15 May 2026; elsewhere they read absent rather than being filled, and the capture regime is itself a searchable reading. They are computed from the record, so they are not available to live monitoring. Every searchable reading is listed in the reading library.
