Reading an existing public report or worked example costs no credits. A new standard research run costs one credit; a larger run can cost two. Check the estimate before confirming. Cached results and page continuation do not spend a new credit. Web, API and MCP use the same monthly allowance.

Creating or changing a question may require new computation. A workflow with several runs can spend several credits. Interpretation and the built-in unconditional baseline are free. A cached retrieval is free, but recomputing after cache expiry or a data revision can spend again. Credits and limits explains the meter.

Yes. Free accounts can save supported research definitions and explicitly enable private monitoring in the web app, subject to monitoring limits. An outcome-first study describes past moves; it is not itself a live trigger. Define and test the setup you want to watch, then confirm monitoring. An alert says the conditions occurred again, not that a trade will be profitable.

Historical results do not establish an optimal strategy. Inspect counterexamples, test a separate period and consider costs before deciding what to do. Open saved studies.

Yes. The open-source terminal and gateway can run on public Binance market data without an EdgeDepth account. The terminal is AGPL-3.0 and the gateway is MIT licensed. Local recording and replay tools are available for your own data.

Research: searches can use the full verified record, starting from 15 July 2025 where the required measurements exist. Each study states its markets and dates. Coverage varies by feature and instrument; inspect coverage for your question.

Tick replay: Pro covers a rolling 90-day window. Research reaches the recorded order book, which begins 15 May 2026. Free replays the past 3 days of BTCUSDT on Binance Futures (6 replays a day), and named archived events have their own access rules.
