EdgeDepth vs Hyblock
Hyblock turns positioning into indicators. EdgeDepth shows you the order flow behind them.
Hyblock is a suite of 100+ positioning indicators with liquidation levels, screeners and indicator backtests. EdgeDepth shows the market those numbers come from: the live and recorded order book, every trade and the liquidations, with liquidation levels scored in public.

What EdgeDepth adds
-
The book and the trades, not only ratios
Hyblock reads the order book as metrics like bid-ask ratios; no order book heatmap, footprint, tape or DOM was found on its pages. EdgeDepth draws the book as a heatmap with trade bubbles, a footprint and the tape, live and in replay.
-
Replay the move
Hyblock's Professional plan loads its screener at a past timestamp; no market replay was found. EdgeDepth replays the recorded book, every trade and the reported liquidations from the candle you right-click.
-
Scored levels, from a free start
Hyblock says the actual liquidations will be lower than its heatmap shows, and the heatmap needs Advanced ($99 a month). EdgeDepth's BTC map is free, every market is on Pro at $29/mo, and its levels are checked against reported liquidations every day.
Side by side
| Question | Hyblock | EdgeDepth |
|---|---|---|
| Liquidation levels | Estimates "based on factors such as leverage, position size, entry price, and margin requirements", at 100x, 50x and 25x; heatmap from 12 hours to 2 years. Advanced and up. | Liquidation rails on Binance and Bybit: modelled levels in dollars, each ended by the candle that reaches it. BTC's map is free to everyone; every other market is part of Pro. |
| Accuracy | No hit rate found. Its academy says "the actual number of liquidations will be lower". Its backtests measure indicator signals, not level accuracy. | Checked every day against the liquidations the exchange reported, misses included, on each coin's map page. A registered forward test of the rails publishes its result on or after 16 November, pass or fail. |
| Replay | None found. Professional can load the screener at a past timestamp. | Click a level price reached to replay that minute, or right-click any candle: the recorded book, every trade and the reported liquidations. Up to 30 days of Binance on Pro. |
| Order book | Bid and ask totals, ratios and depth buckets; no order book heatmap, footprint, tape or DOM found. | Real-time order book heatmap with trade bubbles, live and in recorded replay. Footprint and TPO are free on every supported market. Read traded volume at each price and footprint imbalances. |
| Reported liquidations | Bucketed by trade size, across exchanges including Hyperliquid and Lighter. | Binance and Bybit reports on every market with Pro, live and in replay. Binance does not publish every liquidation, so its figures are a floor. |
| Testing a setup | Signal Statistics and a Strategy Simulator backtest indicator conditions, with win rate and returns. | Research (work in progress): count every past time a setup appeared across the recorded Binance markets, using order-flow readings like book imbalance, then see what trading it would have paid after fees and slippage. |
| Price | Basic free; Advanced $99 a month or $69 billed yearly; Professional (API) $499 a month or $399 billed yearly. | Free: Bitcoin live depth all day. Pro $29/mo, or $20/mo billed yearly. |
Scored in public
Every level we draw is checked against what happened.Misses included.
Any tool can draw bright lines. Without a score, you cannot tell a level that matters from one that just looks good. A map that shows its misses is one you can believe when it hits.

How it is scored
- We checked 11 liquidation map and heatmap tools on 4 October 2026. None published how often its levels met real liquidations.
- The harder test is still running: we wrote down the pass and fail rules for our liquidation rails before 13 October, and publish the result on or after 16 November, pass or fail. Read the registered test →
- Liquidations bunch up in big moves, which also reach more levels, so the time bar flatters the map. Binance’s reported feed is a lower bound, so dollar figures are a floor.
When Hyblock is the better choice
- You want 100+ positioning indicators, such as whale versus retail delta and average leverage, across 1,000+ coins.
- You screen many coins at once with matrices, rankmaps and correlation views.
- You backtest indicator conditions and build your own metrics.
- You need years of history through an API and MCP server.

Questions
Does Hyblock publish how accurate its liquidation levels are? #
Not on the pages we checked. Its academy says the heatmap counts positions opening but not closing, so "the actual number of liquidations will be lower", and its backtests score indicator signals rather than levels. EdgeDepth publishes how often price sat at its levels and how much of the reported liquidations came then.
Does Hyblock have replay? #
No market replay on the pages we checked; Professional can load the screener at a past timestamp. EdgeDepth replays the recorded order book, trades and reported liquidations in the browser.
Can I try EdgeDepth before paying? #
Yes. Watch Bitcoin live, free, all day, and replay a recorded move with no sign-up. A free account also replays the past 3 days of BTCUSDT and any archived move from the past 7 days. Footprint and TPO are free on every market.
EdgeDepth is in early access. Is it ready to use? #
Yes. Live order flow, tick replay, the event archive and the liquidation maps are live today. Early access means the workflows around them are still improving, and Research is still in development. Paid plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee. Founder rate: your price never rises while you stay subscribed.
