EdgeDepth vs Velo
Velo charts the whole market at once. EdgeDepth takes you inside one move.
Velo is a fast web app for open interest, funding, CVD, options and news across exchanges. EdgeDepth records the order book and every trade on each perp, replays any recorded move tick by tick, and scores its liquidation levels in public.

What EdgeDepth adds
-
Replay, not a lookback
Velo's charts offer history ranges from one day to all of it; no replay control was found on its chart or in its docs. EdgeDepth replays the recorded book, every trade and the reported liquidations from the candle you right-click.
-
The book on every perp
Velo's API lists order book history for 32 products, in snapshots of one minute or longer. EdgeDepth records every Binance USDT-M perp's book update by update and replays it in the browser.
-
Liquidation levels beyond Hyperliquid
Velo's docs describe liquidation heatmaps on a few Hyperliquid charts. EdgeDepth draws liquidation levels on Binance and Bybit as well as Hyperliquid, and checks them every day against reported liquidations.

Scored in public
Every level we draw is checked against what happened.Misses included.
Any tool can draw bright lines. Without a score, you cannot tell a level that matters from one that just looks good. A map that shows its misses is one you can believe when it hits.

How it is scored
- We checked 11 liquidation map and heatmap tools on 4 October 2026. None published how often its levels met real liquidations.
- The harder test is still running: we wrote down the pass and fail rules for our liquidation rails before 13 October, and publish the result on or after 16 November, pass or fail. Read the registered test →
- Liquidations bunch up in big moves, which also reach more levels, so the time bar flatters the map. Binance’s reported feed is a lower bound, so dollar figures are a floor.
