Open interest measured against the asset's circulating supply: open contracts divided by the circulating float, which is the same quantity as USD open interest over market cap. 1.0 is the cross-over, where more of the asset is held in open perpetual positions than exists in circulation. A level rather than a change, and the threshold that matters is absolute, which is why there is no percentile companion. Supply is one provider observation a day read as-of within three days; assets the provider does not map, such as the tokenised stock and index perps, read Absent rather than zero.
