The event archive
How events get named and archived, the seven categories, severity ticks, and why archived events outlive the 30-day window.
The archive is EdgeDepth’s permanent memory: 1,800+ named market events, each stored with its full tick history and replayable in one click.
Categories
Seven types, filterable by direction, severity and minimum move:
- Liquidation cascade
- Short / long squeeze
- CPI / macro print
- Exchange outage
- Pump
- Crash
- Volatility spike
The cards
Every event card carries the factual record: the move (e.g. +478.4%), a one-line description with prices and window, liquidated notional, duration, max single liquidation — plus amber severity ticks (▮▮▮▯) and a Replay button that loads the terminal at tick zero.
Permanence
The rolling replay window covers 30 days. Archiving pins an event permanently: its ticks stay replayable years later, exactly as they printed. The archive grows daily and never shrinks. A selection of events is free to replay; the full archive is Pro.
