What is EdgeDepth
Live Binance and Hyperliquid market microstructure with native per-symbol BBO, ultra-high-definition heatmaps and liquidation intelligence, plus 30-day Binance replay and deterministic research by browser, API or MCP.
EdgeDepth is a market-microstructure platform for 660+ Binance USDT-M crypto and TradFi perpetuals, plus every Hyperliquid perpetual. The Binance universe includes crypto plus TradFi perps tracking Nvidia, QQQ, gold, silver and crude oil. Those TradFi-linked contracts are USDT-settled derivatives, not the underlying shares, ETF or commodities. Hyperliquid perps follow Hyperliquid’s own venue and settlement rules.
The live terminal runs entirely in your browser. It carries native-rate per-symbol Binance bookTicker plus sub-second per-coin Hyperliquid BBO, ultra-high-definition order-book depth heatmaps, real-time follow mode, large-trade bubbles and real Hyperliquid position liquidation levels. Its engine is C++ compiled to WebAssembly, rendering through WebGL2 at about 180 FPS with <6MS feed latency. There is nothing to install, and the free tier needs no card.
Four connected surfaces
Each layer is built on the one below it.
The live terminal. 660+ Binance USDT-M crypto and TradFi perpetuals, plus every Hyperliquid perpetual streamed side by side. Every chart carries the full microstructure stack: the DOM ladder and time & sales, native per-symbol BBO, the ultra-high-definition order-book depth heatmap, the liquidation heatmap, large-trade and forced-liquidation bubbles, VPIN, and open interest, funding and liquidation totals. Hyperliquid also adds coverage-labeled liquidation clusters from real open positions.
Tick replay. 660+ recorded Binance USDT-M crypto and TradFi perpetuals keep 30 days of public tick-by-tick history: every trade, every book delta at full depth, every received per-symbol bookTicker change, every liquidation print, open interest and funding. Right-click any recorded Binance chart and the terminal reconstructs that exact moment through the same engine that renders live, 100% deterministically. Hyperliquid’s full historical research layer is currently being backfilled.
The event archive and lessons. When something breaks - a cascade, a squeeze, a macro print - EdgeDepth can name it, measure it, and archive it permanently with its recorded order flow. This selected archive grows daily. Guided lessons are authored on top of those replays, with annotations pinned to exact ticks and prediction checkpoints where the tape decides who was right.
The research engine. EdgeDepth Research currently searches 660+ Binance USDT-M crypto and TradFi perpetuals. Describe a condition in plain words, or point at one minute that already happened, and it finds every time it occurred using a fixed library of 33 measurements. Each result includes the count and how many chances it had, the evidence, what followed each match, an ID that re-runs the exact same search, and a replay link. The matches can also be compared with the market’s normal behavior as a baseline. Run the same engine in the browser, through the public API, or from your own AI agent through the read-only MCP server. Hyperliquid history is still being backfilled; it becomes searchable and replayable once it passes the same completeness checks as the Binance record. Cross-exchange research is in the works, and results will always say which venue they came from before any Binance-to-Hyperliquid comparison is allowed.
Why it exists
Trading is the one high-stakes skill people practice with live ammunition. Pilots get simulators, athletes get film, chess players get engines; traders get a funded account and their own mistakes. EdgeDepth closes that gap. Because every pair is recorded and replay is exact, screen time turns into deliberate reps: study the same cascade until you’d have seen it coming, and be wrong in replay - cheaply, repeatedly - instead of in a position.
Pattern recognition is the visible skill. The quieter product is composure: you don’t panic in a situation you’ve watched fifty times, and you don’t chase a setup you’ve watched fail fifty times. Prediction checkpoints in lessons add the honesty layer - everyone believes they’d have seen it coming; committing before the resolution prints is how you find out.
Research adds a second honesty layer. One replay can explain a mechanism, but it cannot tell you whether the example was rare or typical. An occurrence scan retrieves every match in the chosen record, attaches the denominator, and shows the full distribution of what followed. That is the difference between a memorable chart and a checkable claim.
The ideas underneath
Three principles run through everything in the product.
Measure, don’t predict. Every instrument in the terminal is a computed measurement of what the market is doing, not a forecast of what it will do. Research counts observed occurrences and reports outcomes; it does not turn them into a prediction. Where an instrument is an estimate - the liquidation heatmap is the big one - it is labelled as an estimate that shows its work, and we score it against reality rather than asking you to trust it. The heatmap was benchmarked against weeks of real forced liquidations before we made a single claim about it.
The tape is the ground truth. Because replay is deterministic, nothing in EdgeDepth can be cherry-picked. A lesson can’t redraw the chart to fit the story. A claim about how a cascade unfolded is checkable, tick by tick, by anyone. What printed is what plays.
Speed is comprehension. Microstructure happens at millisecond scale. A ladder that lags, or a tape that batches prints, quietly edits what you see. The C++/WebGL2 engine holds about 180 FPS with the whole market streaming, so the terminal shows the market at the speed it actually trades.
What EdgeDepth is not
EdgeDepth is not an exchange, broker, automated strategy or price-prediction service. Signals and live research alerts identify measured conditions; they do not tell you to enter, exit or expect an outcome. Research deliberately refuses win rates and future-outcome filters. Nothing in the product is financial advice.
Where to start
Read the terminal at a glance to get oriented, toggle the liquidation heatmap on a volatile pair, then start a replay of the last big move you remember. When you can state what interested you as observable conditions, search the record and inspect every match, not just the one you remembered. The loop is live, replay, search, compare, repeat.
